PLuGG will soon be offering the chance to purchase a recommended PLuGG router to connect your computer to our service. You may of course decide to use your own modem, almost all of which should work with PLuGG Broadband. However, should you then encounter a problem using this modem with our broadband service, we cannot guarantee our usual high level of support. There are several reasons for this:

  • Our customer service agents can only offer support for our recommended PLuGG modems. If you are using a different modem, you can still call PLuGG support, but it is not guaranteed that our support agents will have proficiency in that particular brand..
  • If you are not using a recommended PLuGG modem, our customer service agents will not be able to perform remote diagnostic checks on your modem, meaning it is less likely that they will be able to get to the root of your problem. The fault may be with your modem itself, and our customer service agents will have no way of diagnosing this problem.
